Dual Study Program in International Management (Bachelor of Arts)

Your mission:

Do you want to combine theory and practice? With us, you can do both! At our partner university, Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA) in Hamburg, you will study for six semesters and complete your practical phases in our company.

During the practical phases, you will receive a varied and hands-on education in the areas of forest product shipping, container shipping, and multipurpose shipping. You will gain insights into technical and administrative processes, work closely with our shipping office tom Wörden, and gain practical experience in the crewing company Manx Ocean with crew planning.

And the best part: In addition to your bachelor’s degree, you will also take the exam to become a Shipping Merchant with a focus on tramp shipping (m/f/d).

Next possible start date: Fall 2026 in cooperation with HSBA Hamburg

Your profile:

• Advanced technical college entrance qualification or general higher education entrance qualification (equivalent to A-levels/high school diploma)
• On average at least grade B (10 points) in Mathematics, English, and German (alternatively: admission test at HSBA)
• Strong self-organization and motivation
• Very good command of English
• Genuine interest in the shipping industry
• Reliability, commitment, and team spirit
