Technical Superintendent (m/f/d)

Your mission:

  • Monitoring and planning of maintenance and upkeep of the nautical and technical systems, equipment, and safety systems within a clearly defined area of our fleet
  • Close collaboration and communication with ship crews
  • Budget planning and control
  • Handling of insurance claims
  • Preparation and execution of dockings as well as repair and maintenance work

Your profile:

  • Completed technical vocational training or a degree in the field of engineering/technology
  • Relevant seafaring experience as a Technical Watch Officer or Chief Engineer (certificate CT/CI)
  • Experience in the inspection of a shipping company
  • Knowledge of ship maintenance and repair as well as newbuilding is desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team
