Your mission:
- Monitoring and planning of maintenance and upkeep of the nautical and technical systems, equipment, and safety systems within a clearly defined area of our fleet
- Close collaboration and communication with ship crews
- Budget planning and control
- Handling of insurance claims
- Preparation and execution of dockings as well as repair and maintenance work
Your profile:
- Completed technical vocational training or a degree in the field of engineering/technology
- Relevant seafaring experience as a Technical Watch Officer or Chief Engineer (certificate CT/CI)
- Experience in the inspection of a shipping company
- Knowledge of ship maintenance and repair as well as newbuilding is desirable
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business
- Independent and responsible working style
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team
